I know that people say they don't watch porn for the plot...but I do! I mean...of course, I like the sex, but a good porn has a story too and this one has a pretty good one. Actually, this is my favorite story line ever! Jill Kelly and Julian dated at one time and their chemistry shows, but the music during their first scene was a bit repetitious. I liked Inari Vachs' scene. I really like her with women (which you won't see here), but she does a great job with a man too! Somehow she always seems to have a really *wet* mouth. She and her scene partner act out the seducation scene pretty well. I really rented this movie for Devon and she only has one short, disappointing scene. My favorite part of this movie was Asia Carrera's hot, hot lesbian threesome with another pierced chick. She really knows what the ladies like and she would have made a grade-A mainstream actress! The set was nice, the women were beautiful, and I highly recommend this movie for couples or people who appreciate a well thought-out porn that aims to please on all levels.
I like the good old jill kelly and julian scenes. pros: hot scenes but sexy, good to watch with your gf. cons: seems like a 1998 film. I don't know what is it but seems like an older film, probably the camera.
HE SAYS: Other than the scenes with the female lead, they are all amazing. No fakers in this movie.
SHE SAYS: I love this movie. It has one of the best lesbian scenes I've ever seen and the groups scene is awesome. I agree and don't like the female lead and the acting is cheesy but the other scenes are worth it.
This movie is pretty decnt, a good couple flick. There are a few good scenes but the story is just absurd....but who rents it for the story?! Its a well made movie though with good camera work and good audio. A worthy pick!
as this is only the third adult movie i have viewed in full, i have little to compare it to. it was enjoyable to watch and i hope it represents "slightly above average" quality work in the modern industry.
the talent were all physically attractive and seemed to be having fun. some scenes had only music and others had fairly compelling audio (mostly moaning). there were hetero scenes, lesbian scenes, and a big group scene. nothing weird or specialty. the storyline was light weight but fun. the writing and line delivery were so-so.
the storyline to this movie has a sad ending. the mythological archetype that the story is based off of traditionally does have the same sad ending, so it wasn't unexpected and i don't think they were wrong to do it. however, it could potentially ruin the mood for some viewers. if you don't want that to happen, just watch the first 85 minutes. (someone i love always calls the movie theater ahead of time to ask if the dog dies, and only attends movies where it doesn't. if you're like her, consider yourself fairly warned!)
in terms of plot, it's a rehash of the mainstream chick flicks city of angels and xanadu, with julian playing a struggling musician, who is inspired to success by the muse cleo (jill kelly).
so what about the dirty bits then? jill and julian make a surprisingly good couple -- their fucking is really nice to watch, and they obviously have good chemistry (it's pretty evident when you look at how intensely julian enjoys himself). randy is the consummate woodsman and is one of the few "old timers" that i still look forward to seeing. inari needs to cut back on the saliva flow during her famous sloppy blowjobs, but she looks divine in glasses.
the orgy scene that the balance of the cast appears in is pretty decent -- a good mix of action, including oral, girl-girl, one-on-one, 4 girls on one guy, and a messy oral cumshot. there's a three-girl lesbian scene with asia, april, and dee, but it's fairly boring with mostly oral and fake climaxes. the final coupling between jill and julian is solid -- highlights are julian in tight leather pants and a money shot on her pubes followed by some post-shot fucking.
overall, it's a solid couple's movie that has its share of problems (lighting at times is weak, shaky acting, hit-or-miss chemistry) but isn't that bad. it's obvious from the end result and the behind-the-scenes video that jkp tried their best to make this as "big" as they could. from the letterboxed presentation to the marketing campaign and the music, this production aims high.check it out if you like the cast.
