Fantastic, unique Juli Ashton scene in black & white in the 20's kind of feel.. This movie is a time travel movie.. the acting in between the very different scenes due to the time travel was horrible as usual.. I love Juli Ashton & there was another scene w/ a girl who gets it on a desk.. great direction there.. I love it when you can see the feet and shoes in a scene. Most of the movie was 2 stars, but those 2 scenes were 4 stars.. I split the difference for 3 stars. Don't rent this unless you like Juli Ashton or like the "cheese". There is a wild west scene that you might like also, but I didn't.

It's always tough with a movie that incorporates technology to keep it from looking dated. Unfortunately for vortex it looks dated. From the cheesy computers, to the cheesy plot line, to the cheesy images floating in space it all lends an air of "this movie must be 20 years old". The sex was ok at best, and the loosely held together goofy plot really didn't help. If you want to have a few laughs check out vortex...or rent a comedy, if you are looking for hot sex that is well filmed, don't look here.
