A Waste Of A Good Premise

I so wanted to love this one. Jason Ridge is extremely good-looking (and the main reason this particular video caught my eye) and I'm the first to admit I love to watch a guy jack off, but Red Devil Solos: Chicago was a waste of a good premise. The quality of the video was poor (grainy), the camera angles were uninspired at best and the music throughout the entire film was inappropriate to the scenes (particularly in the one featuring Jason Ridge, which was my main reason for watching) and extremely distracting (I think the film would have been notably better if they'd left the music out entirely, personally - I nearly ended up watching the majority of the movie without *any* sound, just to avoid the music). The whole thing came off as amateurish and rushed, without any real effort put into making it a quality film. The only redeeming features of this one (and the reason it got a 2 star rating instead of a 1 star rating) were the (mostly) attractive guys and that with some imagination, there was a bit of a voyeuristic feel to the film, but not enough to make up for the flaws in film quality, music choice and camera angles. Frustrating sums up this one in one word. I wanted to love it, but I can't get past the flaws and really enjoy this one.
