More Boring Than Expected
by dj too short
after having seen the first three installments of the ivy manor series, my conclusion is that this series highlights the difference between san fernando valley-based porn, and westside l.a./hollywood-based porn. san fernando valley porn, in its more extreme forms at least, is heart-pumping, adrenaline-fueled, hard-core action. westside l.a. porn is twisted but pompous fetishistic soft-core stuff, and boring as hell. i was prompted to rent ivy manor after seeing a segment on playboy tv's "sexcetera" program. i was promised wild fetishistic get-ups as well as sick, harsh s&m sequences. instead, what i got was achingly slow, langorous sequences of people putting on their gear, followed by light, equally over-long s&m sessions. i found myself constantly mumbling "ok, i get the point" while pressing fast forward. especially at only 1 hour each, the ivy manor series was quite a waste.
