More of an academic treatise than an erotic film, and not the sort of thing you'd rent for a good time by yourself. However, my girlfriend watched it and suddenly developed a genuine interest in anal eroticism. For that, I'd give it ten stars.

It was a good tension breaker for those just starting to consider anal play. It calms the nerves, teaches beginners, and allows for some conversation between partners. It also offered a chance to see the lessons in action.

Some basic information but the sex is pretty weak. Anna Mall is hot, but Nina Hartley has seen better days. She stands in front of anatomy charts and reads stuff to ya', and then puts on a latex glove and sticks her finger up Anna's butt. Kind of a miss on both counts in my book, not much information and the sex is not great.

if you've never been a "back-door" woman or man, rent this first to get a good overall understanding of tips, tricks and anatomy. it's a very basic breakdown of how to have anal sex and will leave you with a rudimentary knowledge of how to lub it up, relax it and give it what it needs ("it" being the butt). the dvd is light on action, but what it does deliver is very authentic. there's 2 excellent girl-girl orgasms that i thought were pretty hot.
